The subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Bakkt, has appointed Mike Blandina as the new CEO of the company. Kelly Loeffler will leave the bitcoin futures exchange as she is all set to assume the position of the next Georgia Senator.
Adam White appointed as the President of Bakkt.
Adam White, who has served Bakkt as the COO from the start, has been named as the president of the company. This decision has surprised as many. Adam White was among the earliest employees of Coinbase had joined the Bakkt in October 2018. Mike Blandina served as the chief product officer before becoming the CEO of the company. He also worked at Google and PayPal.
Bakkt continues to report high trading volumes.
