Michael Gan, the founder of KuCoin exchange, disclosed the upcoming debut of Bitcoin contracts on KuMEX in the recent Blockchain Life 2019 forum held in Moscow. An official announcement was further released via the Twitter account of KuMEX.

Any information regarding the launch is not yet revealed; however, the details are expected as the service’s start approaches nearer. On the other side, Kucoin has also declared alterations to its exchange center. A few of the changes are entitled to affect areas such as the markets, orders, display, and order books.
The contracts will be based on a monthly period. Bitcoin futures contracts are on the rise. Binance’s recently launched futures network recorded an all-time 24-hour volume of $700 million on 15 October. CME Group revealed a hike in the interest of large investors in the contract. Bakkt also came into play last month, offering Bitcoin futures that are physically settled.
