More than 20 million accounts were created on Ethereum in 2019.
The co-founder of the Ethereum network, Joseph Lubin, tweeted that over 20 million accounts were created in 2019, and over $650 million is currently locked in DeFi. He further added that over $4.5 million ETH was issued this year from block rewards. Justin Sun replied to Lubin’s tweet, saying, “Congrats to the achievement of Ethereum in 2019.”

The total number of accounts on the Tron network increased to 4.3 million.
Justin Sun also informed that in the past 14 days, the total number of accounts on the Tron network increased from 4,234,693 to 4,407,736. He further informed that 5217 accounts were created each in the last two weeks. Tron Foundation also hosted a blockchain event where women from the industry talked about the technology and what it takes to grow in this industry. Women speakers were from Ripple, Libra, Celo, and Tron. Tron also collaborated with companies like Samsung and Opera this year.
