The Cardano (ADA) ecosystem has been working on its new update, Vasil Hard Fork, for a while. The Cardano team, which previously made a short delay for the new update, postponed the realization of Vasil Hard Fork again.

Cardano’s Vasil Hard Fork Postponed

Once again, there are delays in Cardano’s much anticipated Vasil hard fork. During the Cardano 360 event, Kevin Hammond, Technical Manager of IOG, stated that there could be a few more weeks of delay for the update without specifying a specific date. Hammond explained that this delay was necessary to conduct further testing and ensure a smooth process.

Kevin Hammond, IOG Technical Manager, said:

“Honestly, it might be a few more weeks before we get to Vasil Hard Fork. This is incredibly important. All users should be prepared to proceed through the hard fork to ensure a smooth process.”

Cardano developers are not in a rush for this hard fork. Cardano has been one of the most successful networks in the crypto ecosystem, accelerating preparations for the new update and working seamlessly for the past five years.
