Fran Strajnar, CEO of cryptographic research firm Brave New currency, expects that the price of Bitcoin will reach 200,000 by January 1, 2020.
Arthur Hayes, CEO and Co-Founder of cryptocurrency exchange Bitmex, was expecting that Bitcoin would reach 50,000 in 2018, but the bear market has changed its forecast considerably.

Bearish Predictions
Many feared that Bitcoin could fall massively if miners decided to give up Bitcoin because of the increasing difficulties and losses in profitability.
