The billionaire Tim Draper tweeted, expressing his concerns about India’s latest controversial discriminatory citizenship act. Draper wrote that India picking one religion over another makes him seriously consider his plans to fund businesses there. Tim Draper recently entered the Indian market by partnering with Blue Ventures.

Tim Draper does not want to invest to support bad behavior.

This is not the first time Tim Draper has criticized the current ruling government of India. Earlier, he had criticized the Modi government for taking a negative stance on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. In an interview with The Wire, Draper said that anytime one group of people gets better treatment than another, the regulations are compounded with unfairness. He added that he does not want to invest that would result in supporting bad behavior.

The current ruling government recently passed a citizenship bill that is being globally criticized as it discriminates on the basis of religion. The protests that started in the North-Eastern part of the country have now spread in several parts of the country. The government has also shut down the internet in many places.
