The People’s Bank of China has been working on its digital currency for a long time. Earlier several reports claimed that the digital Yuan would be launched in November this year, but Chief of the central bank denied such reports. According to an official recruitment notice People’s Bank Of Chian is seeking candidates with expertise in computer science, cryptography, or microelectronics.

The key responsibilities of the new candidates would be to develop the software systems for the upcoming national digital currency. The new hires will also work on the development of digital currency trading terminals.

The candidates with experience in systematic framework design, blockchain technology development, research of cryptocurrency, and payment settlement systems will be preferred. People’s Bank of China has been working on its national digital currency since 2014 and most probably will launch next year.
