On July 2, Magic Eden, Solana’s largest NFT trading market, said it had appointed Joseph Doll as general counsel. Before Magic Eden, Doll was a partner at Fenwick & West, an established Silicon Valley law firm.
As General Counsel, Doll will lead legal strategy, design, and regulatory approach. Last month, Electric Capital and Greylock led the round.
Joe has over 5.5 years of experience practicing blockchain and corporate law and has structured, negotiated, and executed some of the largest and bespoke equity and token fundraisings in the crypto industry’s history. Joe co-created several decentralized structures and models that have become ubiquitous across the crypto industry and has served as a strategic advisor in designing complex open-source systems, token ecosystems, and DAOs for some of the highest-profile projects and companies in the space.
