Lyra launches a platform that allows users to spend crypto

Lyra, a safe online and in-store payment solution, has launched a new platform that allows users to spend their cryptocurrencies at any of the many online merchants worldwide.
Users will be able to pay utilizing cryptocurrencies at online retailers such as Netflix, DoorDash, Airbnb, Walmart, and Instacart, among others. Users can make both a subscription and a one-time purchase.

The new Lyra platform has an intuitive control panel and Chrome extension that allows users to create virtual Visa cards based on their demand. Cards are activated instantly and can be used for instant spending.

The process is streamlined and does not need users to reveal their personal data or private keys. Instead, users simply choose from the major cryptocurrencies supported on the platform, top up their balance and create a virtual Visa card. Currently, the platform supports BTC, LTC, ETH, ADA, MATIC, SOL, USDC, USDT and BSC.

Crypto users with any of the supported cryptocurrencies can therefore purchase Lyra Visa Prepaid Cards and set spending limits. They can then add the Lyra Chrome extension to their browser.

The extension allows the creation of cards and auto-filling of card details for payments at major retailers without having to switch between different websites.

The platform’s intuitive payment system allows users to automatically fill in their virtual Visa card details at checkout by injecting Lyra’s logo into the credit card fields of online retailers. This allows for faster one-click payment.

Lyra aims to make it easier for people to use crypto assets for daily transactions and help bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and the traditional financial industry.
