This year, a California-based mining startup Plouton Mining has bagged the title sponsorship for the event. This partnership aligned with Plouton’s latest achievement of raising $1 million as funding.
Founder and CEO of Plouton Mining, Ramak J. Sedigh, was happy by reaching these big milestones as the conference aligns with their mission of providing people with the opportunity to invest in the growing economy of bitcoin. They aim to build the largest solar-powered bitcoin mining operation within North America in collaboration with Canada’s tech community.
The theme of this year’s conference is using sustainable thinking and technology to create a better future, and Plouton is already taking a step towards that direction. Plouton Mining plans to use the power of sustainable energy instead of using “cheap electricity” that will become expensive over time and become unsustainable.
