John McAfee is known for his troublesome tweets and videos, and he decided to come in the limelight again with his tweet regarding the cryptocurrency Apollo. John McAfee left a tweet on his account about how there have been reports of Apollo locking the issued coins and how this violates the whole purpose of being privacy coins.

When this tweet went out, Apollo reached out to McAfee and informed him that there had been no reports of such sort and the only report made to them was by him regarding his wallet. They further added how they had mentioned him that they’d fix the problem and get back to him, a day ago.

This accusation on Twitter, however, didn’t affect the trade price of Apollo that much and was trading up around 4.3%. The loss could’ve been worse if we keep in mind the following of John McAfee.

Later, McAfee deleted his tweets and posted a statement apologizing to the company and telling how he got trolled by someone. This tells us that John is not associated with Apollo anymore. Or at least his involvement in the company is not the same.
