Nirmala Sitharaman, Indian Finance, and Corporate Affairs Minister has finally broken her silence and talked about cryptocurrency, and it’s future in India. She spoke about how the appointed committee is examining the report given to her department, and she thinks of cryptocurrency as a futuristic and well-thought-out report.
She further mentioned how the presentation was done before her, and she believes that the committee has done a flawless work on it. When compared to other countries, she believes that India has done very well with the report.
They plan to take this report to the cabinet once they are in the position to do so as there is a case going in the court related to cryptocurrencies. Many people who are related to the digital currency and cryptocurrency world have seen this as a ray of hope, and they hope that in future they’ll get a chance to go on with their innovations and help India accept cryptocurrency.
