HTC’s new smartphone, Exodus 1 is trying to lead their way towards decentralization as it seems like it is the promised land for cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The company in an announcement today revealed the full release of the smartphone Exodus 1, which can now be obtained for fiat currency. Buyers who purchased the phones early will be able to update their devices to acquire new dApps and other decentralized services.

The device was also available previously before the final release, but it was only purchased for Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin. A new partnership with Binance will now let the device to be acquired for BNB coin also.

While in the press release, HTC glorified that the new device is the part of the increasing movement towards protecting the privacy from large technology companies. By providing easy access to peer-to-peer services and decentralized networks, the device also promises to save user information from Big Data analysis.

Moreover, In addition, to provide with the enhanced access to P2P services, cryptocurrency wallet is already built in the new device. Dubbed Zion, which is the wallet that stores cryptocurrency in a trusted accomplished environment and a management API allows only the trusted applications to sign transactions without exposing the private keys.

The announcement made by HTC is the only latest step to provide access to decentralized services with user-friendly smartphones. In the previous week, Samsung has also released the new Galaxy S10 device, which also has an inbuilt wallet for three cryptocurrencies.
