Harmony Protocol announces a $1 million reward

The project team behind Harmony Protocol is trying its best to recover your funds with all possible efforts. Harmony Protocol is a proof-of-stake blockchain.

On June 23, a hacker attacked their Horizon Bridge and stole around $100 million worth of crypto assets. At the time, the team did not disclose this attack, but recently the team decided to reveal this matter openly.

On June 26, Harmony Protocol took to Twitter to inform users that their Horizon bridge was facing an attack. The team confirmed that they are working against this hack to catch the hackers behind this incident.

The team also confirmed that it is conducting an investigation in support of the FBI and other cybersecurity companies, and the Horizon Bridge was suspended until confirmation of the error.

Furthermore, the team announced a $1 million reward for the hackers in exchange for returning the funds and also promised that they would not file any charges or lawsuits against the hackers.

In 2021, the Biggest exploit was placed on the Polygon network, where the hacker successfully obtained $600 million but later returned the funds to the team.
