After claiming to have spent the past month trading cryptocurrency, Joseph Kahn has made a profit of roughly $450. The music video director revealed that he had spent the last month trading crypto assets. A screenshot shows Kahn’s portfolio to be valued at $7,949, with the hobbyist trader claiming to have gained 6% since investing $7,500 one month ago.

He has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, 50 Cent, Eminem, Taylor Swift, and many others — several of whom have found momentary fame within the crypto industry. Bitcoin continues to get a shout out in the mainstream media, be it famous tv shows or songs. When Eminem released his tenth album “Kamikaze” in August 2018, cryptocurrency news outlets noted that the record’s ninth track “Not Alike” featured a shout out to Bitcoin.
Recently bitcoin got a shout out in a hit tv series Billions. Billions is a Showtimes popular financially-centered Wall Street drama following the clash between a ruthless US Attorney Chuck Rhodes played by Paul Giamati and billionaire Robert Axelrod played by Damian Lewis.

America’s one of the longest-running TV shows the Simpsons dedicated a part of its episode to explain what cryptocurrency is and how it works. In an episode called “Frinkcoin,” guest-starring Jim Parsons, who played the well-known character, Sheldon Cooper, in the Big Bang Theory. Professor Frink introduces cryptocurrency to Lisa Simpson via Jim Parsons in the 13th episode of the hit series’ 31st season. There have been several instances of when bitcoin was exposed in mainstream media to masses. Recently, the award-winning Harry Potter author JK Rowling showed her interest in the working of bitcoin, and industry giants rushed in to explain it to her.
