Nathan Runyon, a military veteran who is physically challenged, is suing Kraken for his alleged harassment at the workplace. Runyon worked at Kraken as a financial analyst and was allegedly fired for raising serious issues within the company.

The plaintiff accuses Kraken of involving in unethical and illegal activities.

The plaintiff in this lawsuit has made some serious allegations against the company, as reported by Yahoo Finance. Runyon is suing the chief financial officer of the Kraken, Kaiser Ng, under who he had worked. He alleges in the lawsuit that he was asked by the CFO to produce information to help pass an audit without caring if that information was accurate or not. He further claims that he found stock options grant vesting schedules had been quietly changed from what was declared in board meetings.

Runyon claims he was told to remain silent.

According to Runyon, when he complained about the finding and unethical tactics, he was told to ignore them. He alleges that Kraken earned income illegally from sanctioned nations and firms on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Person List. The ex-employee, when brought the matter to the chief financial officer he was immediately removed from the company. Runyon was also asked to do things that were not part of his contract, according to the lawsuit filed.
