El Salvador has purchased an additional 80 BTC
The President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, stated that El Salvador bought 80 BTC at $19,000 each. He added, “Bitcoin is the future! Thanks for selling cheap.”

The operation is valued at $ 1 520,000.

The government of President Nayib Bukele has purchased a total of 2,381 coins, with an “investment“ that would exceed $107 million since the adoption of BTC as legal tender in September 2021.
The last purchase of BTC by the Bukele Government was on May 9, when it acquired 500 BTC. At the time of it, President Bukele announced on his Twitter account that the average purchase price was $30,744 in what was on operation valued at $15 million.
On June 14, the Minister of Finance, Alejandro Zelaya, pointed out that the country “has not had any losses” due to the collapse of the BTC and stressed that the financial risk is “extremely minimal.”
