The founder of a South African cryptocurrency company VaultAge is suspected of having fled the country after he failed to pay the investors.

Data Transaction Token, originally called Scroll Token, has allegedly pulled off an exit scam on its investors. The trading volume of the cryptocurrency crashed from a peak of over $2 million to under $100,000 this month. The company behind the project, SoluTech, has officially ceased its operations. The website has also been taken down.

Several cryptocurrency traders have been calling out Data Transaction Token from some time. Founder of the AltOne group, John Nguyen is under fire for allegedly shilling the token. The CEO had promoted the coin on Twitter on several occasions. He once tweeted, asking people to get on board as Scroll Token is mooning this year.

Just hours before Scroll announced it had ceased operations, the price of the token fell from $0.0117 to $0.0033 in just two hours as it experienced a dump of 75%.
