Crypto exchanges Gemini and Archax have secured the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) license to offer their services in the United Kingdom.

Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss twins, has just added support for three new fiat currencies on its platform. According to an official announcement, crypto exchange Gemini now allows users to trade in the Hong Kong dollar (HKD), the Australian dollar (AUD), and the Canadian dollar (CAD). The three new fiat currencies come in addition to the United States dollar, allowing Gemini users in Hong Kong, Australia, and Canada to buy and sell crypto with native currencies.

Gemini continues to add support for more fiat currencies.

Gemini’s latest expansion into new currency offerings comes after the exchange announced a major partnership with global tech giant Samsung. The integration aims to allow Samsung Blockchain Wallet users to connect to the Gemini mobile app to buy, sell, and trade crypto. The crypto exchange is also operating in a number of countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, and Australia. Gemini is currently developing its European branch in the United Kingdom as Tyler Winklevoss believes that Europe is the “birthplace of modern financial markets.”

Gemini listed three new tokens for trading.

The Gemini cryptocurrency exchange has announced that it is adding support for three new tokens earlier this year. The crypto exchange added trading pairs for three tokens; Dai (DAI), Chainlink (LINK), and Orchid (OXT) on its platform. According to the blog post, the exchange worked closely with the New York State Department of Financial Services to get the approval to offer trading and custody services for these three new tokens. The crypto exchange has made several developments over the last year to expand its customer reach. The crypto exchange became the first US-based crypto exchange and custodian to partner with Samsung Blockchain.

Winklevoss twins claimed that this integration would help bring crypto to the fingertips of Samsung Blockchain Wallet users in the United States and Canada.
