Self-proclaimed bitcoin inventor Craig Wright said that bitcoin will never break above its all-time high of nearly $20,000.

Craig Wright, who claims to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto, said that bitcoin has already seen its all-time high and will not go above that in the future. Bitcoin reached nearly 20,000 USD in late 2017, and since then, it has not gone above that price.

“There is no million-dollar bitcoin.”

Craig Wright, also known as “Faektoshi” on social media platforms, said, “Bitcoin is not going to keep going up in value. There’s no million-dollar Bitcoin. That’s Ponzi land. That’s a scammer land. There’s not enough money globally to have a million-dollar Bitcoin.” He further said that BTC is not going to $20k, $40k, or $100k, and if it does, it will involve people doing illicit pumps using a tether like technology, and those people will go to prison.

Bitcoin continues to hover around $7,000

The price of bitcoin did not make any recovery during the holiday season as it continues to hover around $7,000. At the rime of writing bitcoin is trading just above $7,200. The short term prediction for bitcoin is quite bearish too as the price is expected to fall below $7,000 once again.
