According to ConsenSys Space, Trusat is an experiment in democratizing and diversifying space endeavors, which would enable people to make a direct contribution to the long-term sustainability of outer space. Trusat’s users will be able to track satellites in the night sky and record their positions in order to help create a record.
The company explained that the number of satellites is increasing by 25x. TruSat is designed to be a citizen-powered system for creating a globally-trusted record of satellite orbits, it added. The further informed that Trusat is a freely available resource that can be used to assess orbital operations in light of the space.
