China’s blockchain-based Service Network (BSN), the country’s nationwide blockchain project, has just launched an official international website. Appearing on Aug. 10, the new English-language BSN website aims to help bring global developers to the project. The CEO of Red Date Technology, a local private company and a founding member of the BSN, He Yifan told the crypto news outlet Cointelegraph that the new website allows developers to use BSN services and public chain services via the portal.

BSN features the live integration of six public chains.

As part of the new global effort, China’s blockchain-based Service Network BSN now features live integration of six public chains, including Ethereum, EOS, Nervos, Tezos, NEO, and IRISnet. This allows developers to build decentralized applications and run nodes through the data storage and bandwidth at overseas BSN data centers. According to the report, the BSN project is planning to launch the “Interchain Communication Hub” via IRITA interchain service hub and decentralized network Chainlink in October 2020. The new international website features a number of major global tech and blockchain firms as BSN partners, including Google and Amazon Web Services.

Over 10,000 new blockchain firms were registered in China this year.

As reported earlier, over 10,000 new blockchain firms were registered this year in China so far. Despite the impact of the ongoing global pandemic across industries globally, the blockchain sector in China seems to be booming. The number of blockchain fresh registration figure is already third-highest in the country, only behind the previous two years. The Asian country has been leading in the number of blockchain firms as compared to other countries.

There are over 84,400 registered blockchain companies in China at the moment, out of which, only 29,340 are operational. Most of these startups are concentrated in the country’s Southeastern province of the Guangdong Province, following the southwestern Yunnan Province.
