The present scenario

After China and the United States, Kazakhstan is the third-largest Bitcoin mining region in the world. Kazakhstan found it feasible to introduce a digital tenge as its own central bank digital currency (CBDC). After the second testing phase was finished, the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) announced the results.

Kazakhstan's CBDC would be merged with BNB Chain, a blockchain created by the cryptocurrency exchange, according to an announcement made by Binance CEO Changpeng "CZ" Zhao in late October. The nation's main reason for researching CBDC was to assess its potential for improvement. Financial inclusion encourages competition and innovation in the payments sector and boosts the country's competitiveness on the world stage.
