Crypto-powered web browser Brave is partnering with the well-known Korean pop group BTS and Rush Gaming to provide a limited edition release of its browser for residents of Japan. According to Japan’s Nikkei newspaper report, the Brave web browser and BTS have developed a browser exclusively for users in Japan. This is the first known collaboration between a privacy-based browser like Brave and the Korean pop band. Brave and BTS aim to find a new touchpoint between idols and fans.

The firm’s co-founder and CEO, Brendan Eich, explained that when Brave was launched on desktop, it was 40% of the desktop browser share. According to the Brave browser, their advertisement 90-day average click-through rate is 9%, much higher than the industry average of 2%.
