One of the leading crypto exchange Binance is now accepting Alipay and WeChat as a way to buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Users will be able to use these methods as an alternative to using a debit or credit card. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao on twitter confirmed the rumor that was circulating from las few weeks.

Earlier today, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao on Twitter responded to a tweet confirming that users can buy cryptocurrencies using Alipay and WeChat. However, Binance has not released any official statement. Alipay and WeChat are the most popular payment apps, and Binance allowing them to buy crypto can change things for better.

This news has come just a day after Binance announced to launch peer-to-peer trading in China. CZ claimed that after the launch of the P2P service, there was a significant trading volume on the platform, and the price of BNB coin also piked considerably.

Wechat and Alipay gateway is currently in a testing phase for Android users and will eventually be fully rolled out for IOS and Web. Earlier in May, WeChat changed its payment policy and announced to terminate accounts of users who would engage in crypto trading.

Binance recently launched its fiat to crypto gateways in the US, Singapore, Uganda, and Jersey. And the exchange is planning to launch similar gateways in Argentina, Bermuda, Turkey, and many others.
