The world of blockchain is ever-expanding and evolving and Binance Labs, the crypto exchanges venture arm recently unveiled the event Game Oasis Hackathon, a global level gaming hackathon co-hosted by Cocos-BCX, Celer Network, Matic Network, and Contentos.
The announcement mentioned that the hackathon would have multiple rounds, including the preliminary online hackathon and subsequent on-site hackathon in 4 different cities: Shanghai, Seoul, San Francisco, and Bengaluru. The first round started on Friday, which was the registration phase for teams that wished to participate in the second round where teams will submit reaction type or rule-based HTML-5 game for judging.
All the teams that qualify the second round will be pitted to the ‘Oasis Arena,’ the 2 days long, on-site hackathon focused on blockchain gaming. Prizes worth 30,000, 20,000, and 10,000 yuan will be given to the top 3 teams that end up in the round 3. The winners will also get the chance to discuss a possible investment by Binance Labs.
The last date for submission is September 2, and the teams that make it to the third round will be announced on September 9.
