Binance is reportedly eyeing to acquire CoinMarketCap in a multi-million dollar deal.

One of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance is reportedly looking to acquire the crypto data analysis firm CoinMarketCap for as much as $400 million.

According to a report by The Block, Binance is looking to pay as much as $400 million to acquire the crypto data analysis firm CoinMarketCap. The deal is reportedly in the final stages, and an official announcement is expected soon. Over the last couple of years, Binance has made several acquisitions all over the world.

 

This could be one of the largest acquisitions in the crypto space. 

If the deal is completed, this would be one of the largest acquisitions in the crypto space. However, other terms of the deal remain unclear at the moment. CoinMarketCap is one of the most popular crypto data aggregators, attracting 207.2 million visitors in the last six months, and on the other hand, Binance attracted 113.8 million visitors in the last six months.

 

Binance made several acquisitions last year.

The crypto exchange made several acquisitions over the last couple of years, including several large ones. Binance had made several large acquisitions in several countries all around the world to make cryptocurrencies accessible to people everywhere. Some of the companies that Binance acquired are Indian crypto exchange Warzix, blockchain analysis firm DappReview and Seychelles-based derivatives platform JEX.
