The FSMA has cautioned against the criminals using cryptocurrencies to scam the users and updated its list of the fraud crypto trade platforms.

The Financial Services and Markets Authority, the financial regulator of Belgium, has lengthened its list of possible cryptocurrency fraud websites. The record now contains 131 sites that are known to deceive the investors of their funds.

FSMA added nine more fraudulent networks, releasing the updated document on October 31. The authority remained the box of hundreds of complaints as consumers turned into victims following the fake websites. The shady sites offer investments claiming a secure, accessible, and lucrative path. Further, they lure the investors assuring high profits and support of specialists to guide through the finances.

Belgium has maintained the list since last year. Also, the record is compiled following the complaints filed by the victims
