Animoca Brands Launches New DAO For Metaverse
An alliance of companies operating in the web3 space expressed as the new iteration of the internet has launched a new decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for web3. This new partnership includes Animoca Brands and Alien Worlds, Dapper Labs, Decentraland, Star Atlas, and The Sandbox.
In addition to the web3 projects already affiliated with Animoca Brands, the alliance includes DAO framework developer Wivity, virtual reality and games developer Space, and blockchain game company Upland.
The companies’ announcement of the new Blockchain-based organization comes just after the announcement of another Metaverse “alliance’ known as the Metaverse Standards Forum. This group’s founders are Microsoft, Meta (formerly Facebook), Alibaba, and Sony.
