Nikolaj Coster-Waldau alerted his fans on Monday about the pseudo ads with his face promising the opportunity to invest in Bitcoins. The actor starred as Jamie Lannister in the most famous HBO series “Games of Thrones,” and took the news to Instagram by posting a video.

Coster-Waldau said, “Hey, guys. I hope you’re enjoying the summer. There are a lot of ads on social media where I am encouraging people to invest in bitcoins and all kinds of stuff. I have nothing to do with those ads. They’re all fakes, as I’m sure most of you know if you’ve seen them. But in case you doubt it, or for a second even maybe thought about clicking on those things or exploring it: don’t. It’s some sad people trying to make an easy buck.”

The post pulled several comments from fans. Some played around, while others appreciated Coster-Waldau for the information.

“Well there goes my financial plan for 2020,” a person wrote.

Someone else commented in terms of  Coster-Waldau’s character from the show, stating, “The Lannister’s always pay their debts,”

This isn’t the first time when the actor became the center of a finance-related business. The 49-year-old actor filed a lawsuit against his manager in 2017 to get out of paying 10 percent of his salary from Game of Thrones and other projects.
