The online Gambling industry has set a new record. America’s Cardroom, the flagship brand of Winning Poker Network, has been awarded by the Guinness World Records for undertaking the biggest cryptocurrency payout in an online poker tournament.

America’s Cardroom’s $5 Million Venom tournament started on the 14th of July 2019 and held three Day 1s till the 21st of July.

The final table was played on the 24th of July and made Rafael Moraes- TheBigKid, a millionaire.
TheBigKid won $1,050,559,50, after defeating GinkgoBiloba in the final round and was sent his winnings in Bitcoin, immediately.

This transfer led to WPN and ACR being awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records on the 24th of July in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Michael Harris, on behalf of WPN, said ” We’re excited for ‘TheBigKid’ our $1,050,559.50 first-place winner in our $5 Million Venom. Earning the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title means it wasn’t just an online poker tournament, it was history in the making.”

$ 5 Million Venom was the biggest tournament organized by a US-facing site.

The WPN and Americas cardroom have been ahead of the game and have accepted bitcoins since 2015. At present, cryptocurrencies account for 60% of its business and its a massive increase compared to the early days when crypto only made 2% of its business.

WPN and ACR are planning to break their own record in November when they will be organizing a $6 Million Venom.
